Dennis Lieberman

Dennis A. Lieberman, Attorney at Law, brings 46 years of experience to Flanagan, Lieberman & Rambo. Dennis concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal law and civil litigation offering clients the knowledge and dedication they need for their legal matters. Dennis A. Lieberman earned his law degree at University of Dayton School of Law and has a proven track record in both criminal and civil litigation.

Dennis Lieberman has worked with prestigious firms such as Smith and Schnacke after graduating law school. Within a few years, Dennis and friends from law school started their own law firm of Lieberman, Landon, Gehres and Smith. In 1984 they merged with another firm and became the law firm of Flanagan, Lieberman, Hoffman and Swaim. After the death of several partners, the law firm is now Flanagan, Lieberman & Rambo. Dennis A. Lieberman is licensed to practice in Ohio and Indiana and is an active member of the following organizations: American Bar Association, Lawyers Club of Dayton, Ohio, Lawyers of Distinction, Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association, Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Inc., National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Association of Distinguished Counsel, National Trial Lawyers, Ohio State Bar Association, Dayton Bar Association and Best of the Best Lawyers.

Dennis has received numerous awards: Access to Justice Community Advocacy Award for his work on death penalty cases, the MLK Holiday Celebration Humanitarian Award, Lifetime Achievement Award in the Montgomery County Democratic Party, County Chair of the Year Award from the Ohio Democratic Party, “Joe Friday” Award from the Kleptz YMCA, University of Dayton School of Law Distinguished Alumni Award, Top 100 Trial Lawyer in America the past three years and top ten in Ohio, Ohio Super Lawyer for the past 10 years as well as the Best Lawyers in America for over 25 years, named Lawyer of the Year for Best Lawyers in America in 2011, “Best in the Bar” by the Dayton Business Journal. Mr. Lieberman also has the highest rating in Martindale-Hubbell by his peers and judiciary as a preeminent lawyer.

Dennis has extensive community service as an Acting Judge in Vandalia Municipal Court, Trustee at Miami University, Adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton School of Law teaching trial practice and coaching the law school’s national mock trial team. He also is a volunteer at Northmont High School coaching the Northmont mock trial team and served as a Clayton Council member for 11 years.
